Description

This solicitation is for the lease of on-track production equipment to support Metro-North Tie and Rail Production gangs with rail and tie replacement throughout Metro-North's territory. The equipment must meet or exceed specifications and comply with all current Federal Safety Standards as outlined in Part 214 of Title 49 CFR, Subpart D. The lease term is one year with options, and the equipment must be capable of track travel speeds of at least 25 MPH and meet various technical and safety requirements detailed in the attached specification document.
