The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified laboratories to provide comprehensive Transplant Immunology (HLA) Testing services for the Nashville VA Medical Center. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9), Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive HLA (Human Leukocyte Antigen) typing (high and low resolution) - Antibody screening (Class I and II, via Flow Cytometry and Luminex) - Crossmatching (T and B cell, cytotoxic/AHG, flow cytometry) - Deceased donor workup, ABO reverse typing, A1 titer - DNA extraction and storage, serum archiving, sendout kits - Notable Requirements: - Laboratory must be ASHI-accredited and located within 50 miles of Nashville, TN - 24/7 testing availability with rapid turnaround times - At-home testing kits must be provided - Compliance with HIPAA and VA quality assurance standards - Monthly payment based on accepted services; performance standards for specimen integrity, turnaround, and emergency response - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All technical and service requirements are detailed in the attached Statement of Work

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Transplant Immunology Testing in support of transplant services for the VA Medical Center, Nashville Campus; 1310 24th Avenue South; Nashville, Tennessee 37212-2637. The period of performance will tentatively be a five-year Indefinite Delivery Contract with one-year ordering periods. . In accordance with RFO 15.101(c), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this sources sought notice. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding and the Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to the notice. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a competitive process. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or otherwise sensitive information contained in their response.
