The projects include the Sewer Line Expansion Project funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), involving sewer infrastructure extension into the Lumpkin County Industrial Park, and the Water System Improvements project funded by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), involving water system resiliency improvements such as water storage, supplemental groundwater supply, and distribution infrastructure. Selected consultants may also provide annual on-call engineering services supporting LCWSA's Capital Improvement Program and other general engineering needs. The selection process includes evaluation of SOQs, interviews, and negotiation with the highest-ranked firms, with multiple awards possible.
