This opportunity seeks vendors to supply portable patient lifts and related equipment for the VA Northeastern Consortium (VANEC), covering VISNs 1, 2, 4, and 5. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), Commodities 1, Coatesville VA Medical Center - Products and Equipment Requested: - Portable patient lifts (powered and non-powered, including bariatric, dual mast, and space-constrained models) - Therapeutic and rehabilitation chairs (including bariatric and complex support seating) - Standing frames for ambulatory mobilization - Bath and hygiene chairs (battery-powered, height-adjustable, multi-purpose) - Stretcher/chairs convertible from flat surface to seat - Fall recovery mattress lifts (air mattress technology) - Single-patient use lateral transfer systems (air-assisted preferred) - Accessories such as slings, scales, and support cushions - Services Required: - On-site clinical and technical training (initial and follow-up) - Delivery, installation, assembly, and validation - Manufacturer's warranty (minimum one year, covering parts, labor, travel, shipping, preventive maintenance) - Post-warranty service and maintenance agreements (including 24/7 technical and clinical phone support) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Preference for US-manufactured equipment - Vendors must provide detailed product information, manufacturing origin, and comply with warranty and training requirements - Equipment must support a range of patient weights (up to 1000 lbs for some items) - Delivery and installation to multiple VA medical centers and clinics across the northeastern US - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; open to all qualified manufacturers - Authorized Ordering: - All VANEC medical centers, facilities, and clinics are authorized to order from the resulting BPAs

Description

The purpose of this requirement is to establish multiple award vendor BPAs to provide portable patient lifts for all facilities and clinics in the VA Northeastern Consortium (VANEC). The VANEC is comprised of Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) 1, 2, 4 and 5. All VANEC medical centers, facilities, and clinics are authorized to order from this.
