The Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area, is seeking two Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide non-personal healthcare services for the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Pediatrics Department at the Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) and other associated facilities in the Shiprock Service Unit, New Mexico. - Government Buyer: - Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area, Northern Navajo Medical Center - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a services procurement for healthcare professionals - Products/Services Requested: - Registered Nurse (RN) services for pediatric patients (ages 0-18) in outpatient and other clinical settings - Scope includes patient assessment, medication administration, immunizations, care plan development, patient/family education, and support in pediatric and other nursing departments as needed - Total of two RN positions, with service quantities specified as 1,040 hours per 6-month period per nurse, across a base period and four 6-month option periods (up to 30 months total) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) - Nurses must have pediatric experience, current licensure, required certifications, and meet health and cultural competency standards - Compliance with HIPAA, federal regulations, and maintenance of medical liability insurance is required - Place(s) of Performance: - Primary: Northern Navajo Medical Center, Shiprock, NM - Additional: Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center and Four Corners Regional Health Center (all federal facilities within the Shiprock Service Unit) - Period of Performance: - Base period of 6 months, with four 6-month option periods (up to 30 months total)
