The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), 412th Maintenance Group is seeking a contractor for troubleshooting and repair of the K400XL test stand at Edwards Air Force Base. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Test Center, 412th Maintenance Group - OEM and Vendor Details: - Testek Solutions is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole authorized distributor for the K400XL test stand and related products in the continental United States - Testek Solutions maintains proprietary control over the K400B-XL integrated system, including hardware, software, and technical data - Testek Solutions does not sell directly to the government; all government sales are handled through their authorized distributor - Products/Services Requested: - Troubleshooting, testing, and repair services for the K400XL test stand (B1600) - Contractor must provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the work - Some equipment for the test stand will be supplied by the 412 MXS/MXMAE, Electrical Element - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only Testek Solutions or its authorized distributor can provide the required supplies and services due to proprietary restrictions - No other source is authorized or capable of providing these services for the K400XL test stand - Place of Performance: - Edwards Air Force Base, California

Description

Troubleshooting and repair of K400XL test stand– B1600 412th Maintenance Group (412 MXG)  The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform troubleshooting, test and repair on the K400XL test stand, to include requisite operational checkouts. Equipment that is part of the test stand inventory will be provided by the 412 MXS/MXMAE, Electrical Element, as required.  The proposed source, Testek Solutions, is the sole authorized distributor for the required products in the continental United States. Testekhas proprietary control over K400B-XL's integrated system which includes hardware, controlled-access software, and partnership-derived data. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Testek Solutions, has confirmed in writing (see attached letter/email) that it does not sell directly and exclusively uses the proposed source for all government sales. Therefore, no other source can provide these supplies.
