The USDA Forest Service is soliciting bids for roof repair and replacement services at Warehouse H, Rapid River Ranger District, within the Hiawatha National Forest. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Hiawatha National Forest, Rapid River Ranger District - Contracting office: USDA-FS CSA EAST 13, Atlanta, GA - Products and Services Requested: - Complete re-roofing of Warehouse H, including: - Removal and replacement of existing roof coverings (shingles, underlayment, flashing, drip edge, facia, pipe boots) - Installation of CertainTeed Landmark asphalt fiberglass shingles (Heather Blend color, UL certified, ASTM compliant, limited lifetime warranty) - Use of CertainTeed Winter Guard or approved equal for valleys and eaves - Self-adhering sheet underlayment, drip edge (brown), facia (brown), vent pipe flashing (5 units), Grip Rite 1-1/4 Smooth Galvanized Coil Roofing Nails, and asphalt roofing cement (RF140 or approved equal) - All labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and debris disposal to ensure a weather-tight roof - OEMs and Vendors: - CertainTeed (manufacturer of specified shingles and underlayment) - Grip Rite (manufacturer of specified roofing nails) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Project is set aside for Small Business entities under NAICS 238160 (Roofing Contractors) - Firm fixed price contract with a single lump sum for the entire re-roofing service - All work must comply with detailed specifications and standards outlined in the solicitation - Completion required within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Progress schedule submission required within 5 days of Notice to Proceed - All work performed at a federal facility (Rapid River Ranger District Complex) - Estimated contract value: $25,000 to $100,000

Description

The USFS is pursuing a Purchase Order to provide roof repair and replacement construction services for the Rapid River Ranger District, on the Hiawatha National Forest. Services shall be performed by the awardee in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions of this solicitation, including those found in the solicitation attachments.

SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Business entities under NAICS 238160 - Roofing Contractors.
