Notice Of Intent To Award A Sole Source Delivery Order Via GSA Federal Supply Schedule

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Maness Medical Inc. under the Federal Supply Schedule. The requirement is for the procurement of Ook Snow Beds, which must be fully compatible with the Umano Connect system and match the existing beds currently in use to ensure uniformity and operational consistency. This equipment is required for the Community Living Center at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106 1(b), which allows for sole source procurement when only one responsible source is capable of providing the required supplies due to their unique or highly specialized nature. A Sole Source Justification has been completed and approved in accordance with applicable regulations. Period of Performance: May 1, 2026 June 30, 2026. This is a Special Notice, not a solicitation.
