The State of Minnesota is seeking qualified vendors to provide autobody and mechanical repair services for heavy equipment and commercial trucks used by State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members. - Government Buyer: - State of Minnesota, Administration Department, Office of State Procurement - Commissioner of Administration, Office of State Procurement - OEMs and Vendors: - Responders must list all key/primary parts and raw material suppliers (OEMs and manufacturers such as ABC Auto Parts, XYZ Salvage, DEF Auto, MN USA Steel, etc.) - Products/Services Requested: - Mechanical, diagnostic, body, paint, machining/fabrication/welding, hydraulic, and towing/transportation services - Repairs for heavy equipment, commercial trucks, transit and school buses, aerial cranes/lifts, and military tactical vehicles - New OEM parts, used parts, body panels/trim, paint and raw materials, steel and other metals - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must have at least three years of continuous operation under the same entity name - Technicians must hold ASE or equivalent certifications; OEM warranties are preferred - Strict compliance with specifications and diversity/inclusion goals - Registration as a supplier prior to award is required - Pricing must include labor rates, parts markups, and transportation/towing charges - Exhibit D Price Schedule must be completed and submitted - Contract Details: - Initial term of up to two years, with options to extend up to 48 additional months - Estimated annual contract value: $100,000 to $500,000 (actual usage not guaranteed) - Place of Performance: - Services to be provided at State of Minnesota facilities and for CPV members; key locations include the Office of State Procurement at 50 Sherburne Ave, St. Paul, MN
Description
This is a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Minnesota for Autobody and Mechanical Repairs of Heavy Equipment and Commercial Trucks owned and operated by State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members. The contract awarded will allow purchases on an as-needed basis. Responses must be submitted via the Supplier Portal by June 30, 2026, and questions must be submitted in writing by June 11, 2026. The contract term is anticipated from August 2026 to July 2028, with an option to extend up to an additional 48 months.
