The U.S. Air Force Reserve Command at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station is seeking sources for a comprehensive upgrade of its rifle range target retrieval system. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 914th Contracting Office and 914th Air Refueling Wing, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station - OEM Highlight: - Inveris is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the target retrieval system - Products/Services Requested: - Upgrade from Inveris Gen1 Target Retrieval System to Inveris Gen5/XWT Gen5 Wireless 360 Degree Turning Target System - Includes 21-point wireless system with self-propelled targets - Touchscreen target control, master control computer, and tablet controller (RMCS3) - 21 illuminated targets with light control (on/off, strobe) - 21 speed control units for carriers - 21 battery charging capabilities for carriers - 21 units of 3/8 steel plate for carrier component protection - Removal and disposal of existing Gen1 equipment - Installation of new Gen5 system - Delivery and installation services (FOB Destination) - Minimum 1-year warranty on the new system - Notable Requirements: - Contractors must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and related services - All work, including delivery and installation, must be completed within 120 days after contract award - Responses are encouraged from all business types, including small businesses - No specific part numbers are provided in the documentation

THIS NOT A SOLICIATION AND NO SOLICITATION HAS BEEN ISSUED AT THIS TIME.  REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION OR CONTRACTOR PROPOSALS/QUOTES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.  

The 914th contracting office, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station (NFARS), New York is seeking sources that can provide:

Rifle Range Target System Upgrade for Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, Niagara Falls, NY. Services required are summarized as follows:

Upgrade of existing Inveris Gen1 Target Retrieval System to Inveris Gen5 Target Retrieval System. Includes removal of existing system and installation of new system

CONTRACTOR MUST FULLY REVIEW ATTACHED DRAFT STATEMENT OF NEED FOR ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT. STATEMENT OF NEED PROVIDES FULL DETAILS FOR REQUIREMENT.

                Anticipate delivery and installation to be complete 120 days after date of award.

Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to deliver and install system required.

The government is requesting response from potential contractors, to include small business contractors. This Sources Sought Inquiry is open to all types of businesses, including small businesses, and requests the following information from interested contractors:

Response from any contractor who may be capable of providing the products and installation as outlined in the attached Statement of Need. Response should include capability information for the contractor that details experience in delivery and installation of Inveris target retrieval systems. Small Businesses please include your small business category information with your response.

The anticipated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this effort is 339920 – Remediation Services with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees.
