Description

This solicitation is for complete water main improvements along portions of Chandler Street and May Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The work includes furnishing and installing various sizes of ductile iron water mains, associated water and fire services, valves, fittings, hydrants, and temporary bypass piping. Additionally, large diameter valve replacements and other intersection work at various locations in the city are included. Stormwater system improvements such as installation of reinforced concrete pipes and manholes are also part of the scope. The estimated cost for the project is $9,000,000, and the work must comply with the 2026 DPW Standard Specifications.
