Description

The Regional District of Strathcona is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide Pre-Construction Services during the design phase of the Surge Narrows Revitalization Project. The project includes reconstruction of the historic Surge Narrows Store Building to serve as a community meeting place, remediation of the marine tenure area by removing derelict structures and waste, and construction of new dock infrastructure. The scope also covers all necessary preliminary assessments, permits, and authorizations. Several environmental, geotechnical, and archaeological assessments have already been completed by the Regional District.
