Description

This RFP seeks a contractor to provide custom-fit animal mitigation material for substation equipment under 60 kV to protect critical equipment from animal-induced damages and outages. The contract includes site assessment, design, manufacture, and delivery of the mitigation material on an as-needed basis throughout British Columbia. Services may also include technical support and training for BC Hydro personnel on proper installation. The mitigation material is required to protect equipment such as bushings, potheads, bus supports, and cables, especially in high animal activity areas.
