Description

The County seeks to provide residents and eligible small businesses with access to weekly solid waste collection services through a subscription-based program starting before April 2029, potentially becoming mandatory. The County also manages a subscription-based, bi-weekly curbside recycling service with approximately 9,300 households participating. The contract for curbside collection of recyclables may be awarded to coincide with or prior to the solid waste collection contract. The County prefers to select the same contractor for both services but may award contracts separately. The County owns all curbside recycling carts currently deployed plus 700 spare carts.
