The City of Mobile, Alabama is seeking bids for the supply of 2025 or newer 16,000 GVW Crew Cab 4x4 trucks with drop side contractor dump bodies. - Government Buyer: - City of Mobile, Purchasing Department - OEMs and Vendors: - Ford (F-450 chassis or equivalent) - Knapheide (KDBDS1116 dump body and 1520-SF-ED hoist or equivalent) - Equivalent products from other manufacturers are permitted - Products/Services Requested: - Minimum of two (2) trucks - Chassis: Ford F-450 or equal, XL Super Crew, 4x4, 7.3L V8 gas engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, 16,500# GVWR, 203" wheelbase - Dump Body: White Knapheide KDBDS1116 or equal - Hoist: Knapheide-1520-SF-ED or equal - Four sets of fully functional keys per vehicle - Factory literature, service and parts manuals required - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must provide detailed product literature and specifications - Height of the truck bed is a critical factor and may influence award decisions - Compliance with local vendor preference laws - Business license and E-Verify enrollment required; out-of-state vendors may need a Certificate of Authority - Contract may be extended for two additional model years at the City's option

The City of Mobile is seeking bids for 2025 or newer 16,000 GVW crew cab 4 x 4 trucks with drop side contractor dump bodies. The city intends to purchase a minimum of two such trucks. The award will be made on a per item basis. Bidders must submit sealed bids by 12:01 p.m. on May 8, 2026, to the Purchasing Department at Government Plaza.
