Description

The City of Marathon is procuring the installation of approximately 5,512 linear feet of 10” DR 11 HDPE piping and 14,866 linear feet of 16” DR11 HDPE piping using directional drill method. The work includes procurement and installation of five 10” plug valves and six 16” plug valves with necessary fittings. The project starts at the City of Marathon Area 3 Wastewater Treatment Plant and continues eastward through multiple locations, ending near the Vaca Cut Bridge where the transmission main will be capped for future continuation. The directional drill method is chosen due to numerous existing utilities in the area. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for March 6, 2025, at Marathon City Hall and virtually via Teams.
