DESCRIPTION THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST ONLY This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 Hampton VA Medical Center (HAMVAMC) in Hampton, Virginia, on behalf of is conducting market research to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition for KUBOTA RTV or equal to item, for Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC). The Department of Veteran Affairs, Hampton VA Medical Center (HAMVAMC) seeks a contractor for the delivery of the KUBOTA RTV or equal to item. The contractor shall provide items which include all requested equipment, and delivery for equipment use by the Interior Design Department. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333112 (Lawn and Garden Tractor and Home Lawn and Garden Equipment Manufacturing), Product Service Code (PSC) Classification is 2305 (Ground Effect Vehicles) and Size Standard 800 Employees.   GENERAL: All capable contractors are welcome to respond to this notice and provide a brief capability statement that covers the information in the statement of work. INTRODUCTION This request is to obtain 3 new cargo vehicles for the Interior Design program to keep up with the influx of workflows, employees within the program, and workload of the program to be able to effectively, efficiently, and safely relocate furnishings and supplies around the Hampton VA Medical Center campus. The vehicle will be needed by Spring 2026 to streamline the processes and procedures of the Interior Design program and provide better interior environments for veterans and adjacent staff members.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION BEING APPROVED This action is to request the procurement for a delivery order for the purchase of the Kubota Worksite vehicles with extended bed and/or something of equal value:

DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES REQUIRED Contractor shall provide the following salient characteristics for the items. The vehicle should have a D1105-E4-UV, 3 Cylinders, 4 Cycle, Diesel, OHV engine with 68.5 cu. in.in displacement. The chassis shall have an independent, Dual A-Arms with Adjustable Spring Preload front suspension. The front and rear brakes should be wet disc. The rear suspension should be independent with coil-over shock. The transmission should be a variable hydro transmission (VHT-X) with a four-wheel drive system. The cargo bed should be made of steel with a minimum 11 in depth and a hydro power lift dumping system. The vehicle should feature enclosed wing door beds and an enclosed cabin for all-weather protection. The vehicle should have a minimum horsepower of 24.8 HP @ 3000 and a fuel tank capacity of 7.9 gal.

WARRANTY Manufacturer shall warrant and imply that the items delivered here under are merchantable, fit for use for the particular purpose and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two year/1,000 hour use from the date of delivery. Contractor will replace all parts found defective within the period with cost of replacement, including any shipping costs, to be borne by the Contractor. Under no circumstance will any equipment covered by the guarantee be returned without (a) advance written notice to the contractor or (b) obtaining shipping instructions from the Contractor.
