This opportunity involves a Job Order Contract (JOC) for general building contracting services across County of San Diego facilities. - Government Buyer: - County of San Diego, Department of General Services, Department of Purchasing and Contracting - OEMs and Vendors: - Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS) is the OEM for the Simplebid™ JOC Software and Unit Price Book - Products/Services Requested: - General building contracting services, including repair, remodeling, alteration, modernization, maintenance, and rehabilitation of buildings and structures - Use of the proprietary Simplebid™ JOC Software, JOC Applications, and Simplebid™ Unit Price Book for pricing and job order proposals - Contractors must provide all management, labor, materials, and equipment as specified in individual job orders - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only prequalified contractors may bid - Submission of two adjustment factors (for normal and other than normal working hours) is required - Compliance with California prevailing wage laws, DIR registration, and County bonding requirements - Strict adherence to management, safety, and environmental standards - Indefinite quantity contract with a $5,000,000 maximum value over a 12-month base period - Work may be ordered and performed at various County locations throughout the contract period

Description

The County of San Diego is soliciting bids for a Job Order Contract (JOC) 364 B General Building Contractor. This is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced indefinite quantity contract involving repair, remodeling, alteration, modernization, maintenance, or rehabilitation work on buildings, structures, or other real property at various locations throughout the County. The contract uses a Simplebid Unit Price Book with preset unit prices for construction tasks, and the successful offeror will provide all management, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work. The contract has a maximum value of $5,000,000 and a base period of 12 months from contract award or expenditure of the maximum value, whichever occurs first.
