The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, safety inspections, and repair services for perimeter security barriers across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and associated Air Bases in Germany. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, including 86th Civil Engineer Squadron, 86th Security Forces Squadron, 721st Airlift Squadron, 569th U.S. Federal Protective Service, and 786th Civil Engineer Squadron - Contracting offices at Kaiserslautern Military Community and APO AE locations - OEMs and Vendors: - Gunnebo - Elkosta - Heintzmann - BFT - Products/Services Requested: - Maintenance, safety inspections, and repair of: - Arm barriers (hydraulic and electric) - Sliding gates - Bollards - Crash beam barriers - Tire killers - Wedge barriers - Quick folding gates - Final denial and ram denial barriers - Specific part numbers and quantities include: - HS 100 (Arm Barrier Hydraulic), 1 unit - ICARO Typ 99 (Sliding Gate), 1 unit - CP 220 (Bollards), 1 unit - FSS (Arm Barrier Electric), 1 unit - BLS - K12 (Crash Beam Barrier), 1 unit - FSV-N (Tire Killer), 1 unit - Wedge K 12 (Wedge), 1 unit - QFG II (Quick Folding Gate), 1 unit - VSH 610 (Final Denial Barrier), 1 unit - Ram Denial Barriers, 153 units - Estimated annual maintenance: 57 sliding gates, 134 quick folding gates, 32 FDB units, 84 AVB units, 96 routine and 25 emergency service calls - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Personnel must have Heintzmann Industries training certificates - Services must comply with German regulations and manufacturer standards - Emergency repairs required 24/7; routine maintenance during business hours - Over and above services allowed, subject to contract modification and approval - Maintenance intervals range from quarterly to annually; some equipment is new or near warranty expiration - Period of Performance: - Base period of 4 months, followed by four 12-month option years, with a possible 6-month extension - Place of Performance: - Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Ramstein Air Base, Einsiedlerhof WPC, Vogelweh, Kapaun Air Station, Construction Training Squadron, and associated facilities
