The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy Amman, is soliciting Welcome Kit Services for embassy residences within a 15-kilometer radius of the embassy compound. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Embassy Amman, General Services Office (GSO) - Contracting Officer's Representative: George Nasssoura - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; offerors must source, assemble, and deliver household items - Products/Services Requested: - Kitchen & Home Box (100 units): includes a wide range of household items such as kitchen utensils, appliances, cookware, and home accessories - Bed & Bath Box (100 units): includes bedding and bath linens for twin and queen beds - Other Items (100 units): additional household items not listed, ordered as needed, up to 100.00 JOD per item - Welcome Kit Services: procurement, assembly, packaging, and delivery of kits to embassy residences - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract with minimum order of 25 boxes and maximum of 200 boxes per year - Strict quality, packaging, and warranty requirements (especially for electrical items) - Delivery must occur Sunday through Thursday - VAT is excluded due to U.S. government tax exemption - Pricing in Jordanian Dinars (JOD) - Compliance with embassy security regulations and coordination with COR - Place of Performance: - U.S. Embassy Amman residences within a 15-kilometer radius of the embassy compound, Amman, Jordan - Contracting office located at Department of State, Washington, DC

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Welcome Kit delivery Services to US Embassy Residences.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Offerors are required to submit all questions in writing to AmmanRFQQuestions@state.gov by April 28th, 2026, at 02:30 PM local time.  The questions and the Government's answers will be publicly available on the Embassy website.

Quotations are due by May 10th, 2026, at 4:30 PM (local time). No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted.

Your quotation must be submitted electronically to AmmanRFQ@state.gov . Offers sent to any other address or addressed to specific individuals will NOT be considered. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed 30MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each. Email subject line should include [Company/Offeror Name] and RFQ 19J01026Q0004.

4. Additional information as required in Section 3

5. Proof of SAM Registration

6. Certification Regarding Compliance with applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws

Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102.
