Description

This is a Sources Sought notice is for informational/market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation, request for proposal, quotation, or bid, nor a synopsis of a proposed action under FAR Subpart 5.2.  The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding contractor’s availability and capability to support the requirement. 

The responses to this notice will be used for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in determining market capability, and assess the availability of small businesses, including those in socio-economic categories. This notice does not constitute a RFQ or RFP by the government, nor does it commit the Government to issue a solicitation or contract. 

1.0 Description of Requirement

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (FLCY) Site Marianas is seeking information to determine the availability of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) galley equipment that meet the Government’s minimum salient characteristics. 

2.0 Scope of Requirement

The Contractor shall provide and deliver commercial galley equipment that meet the minimum salient characteristics outlined in the draft statement of work. All equipment must be new, unused, and meet the specific salient characteristics outlined in the draft Statement of Work.

Key requirements include:

All equipment must meet the detailed specifications and electrical requirements outlined in the associated SOW. All items must be delivered to Camp Covington Galley, Naval Base Guam, no later than 30 June 2026. The contractor must provide the manufacturer's commercial warranty, including a minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor. The contractor must have a plan for providing warranty service and repairs in Guam.

3.0 Interested parties who consider themselves capable of providing these Commercial Products are invited to submit a Capability Statement. Responses should be concise and address the following:

<li><strong>Contract Vehicles:&nbsp; </strong>Indicate if the products are available via a General Services Agency Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and provide the contract number.</li>
<li><strong>Capability Statement (not to exceed five pages):</strong>

    <li>Brief description of your company&rsquo;s capability to provide all the listed equipment.</li>
    <li>Confirmation that your company can meet the delivery deadline of 30JUNE2026.</li>
    <li>Describe customary commercial warranty terms for the proposed products.</li>
    <li>Plan or approach to providing warranty service and repairs in Guam.</li>
    <li>Past performance in providing similar equipment to government or commercial customers.</li>
