THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) East, intends to issue a Solicitation for Roadway Stripping - Blue Ridge Parkway Nashville, North Carolina (Work will be performed on the Virginia side of the Parkway) in accordance with the statement of work.This procurement will be set-aside for small business firms. The NAICS code is 237310; Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size of $45,000,000.00. The PSC is Z1LB: Maintenance Of Highways/roads/streets/bridges/railways.All interested offerors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment.SITE VISIT: Only one formal (1) site visit will be scheduled as part of this solicitation, and no individual site visits will be allowed. All questions shall be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer for formal responses. Details will be provided with the solicitation when it’s published.TYPE OF CONTRACT: As a result of the request for proposal, a single firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded.Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Augusta, Nelson, Amherst, Rockbridge, Bedford, and Botetourt Counties Virginia will apply for this requirement.The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to a responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the terms and conditions of the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.The formal solicitation will be posted on sam.gov (System for Award Management) on or about May 05, 2026.
