The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District is seeking proposals for the design, construction, and furnishing of the Special Operations Forces Mission Command Center at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, Contracting Division - Primary OEMs and Vendors: - Steelcase (office furniture, workstations, seating) - Coalesse (lounge and collaborative furniture) - Whirlpool (refrigerators) - Sharp (microwaves) - Bunn (coffee makers) - Cuisinart (single serve coffee makers) - Salsbury Industries (benches, lockers) - Aquaverve (water coolers) - Group Inc and Hamilton Products Group (secure storage safes) - Magnuson Group (waste/recycling receptacles) - Bludot (floor lamps) - Products and Services Requested: - Construction of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) compliant with ICD/ICS 705 standards - Integrated building systems: fire alarm, fire suppression, energy management, communications networks, intrusion detection, surveillance, electronic access control, protected distribution system, automated parachute storage/retrieval system, cybersecurity measures - Architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and telecommunications work - RF shielding materials and installation (IEEE 299, TEMPEST coordination) - Extensive interior finishes: acoustical ceiling tiles, gypsum wallboard ceilings, flooring (carpet, vinyl, epoxy, terrazzo, wood paneling), signage, casework, millwork - Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E): - Over 1,000 items including ergonomic task chairs (264), guest chairs (182), collaborative chairs/stools, executive seating, desks, workstations, conference tables, markerboards, lockers, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, water coolers, secure storage safes - Specialized spaces: briefing areas, lactation rooms, executive offices - Unique or Notable Requirements: - SCIF construction must meet ICD/ICS 705 and TEMPEST standards - RF shielding installation and testing per IEEE 299 - Small Business Participation Plan targeting 30% involvement - Sustainable design and LEED compliance for FF&E - Coordination with TEMPST consultants and adherence to NFPA/UFC standards - Submission of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with offers - Period of Performance: - 1080 calendar days from contract award, with work limited to normal business hours and no work on federal holidays - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), North Carolina - USACE Wilmington District Contracting Division, Wilmington, NC
