BC Hydro is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for the provision of SF6 and CF4 gases, supplied in BC Hydro–owned cylinders and delivered to BC Hydro’s warehouse in Surrey, BC. The supplier must manage associated services including logistics, cylinder traceability, processing residual gases, recycling, refilling, refurbishing, re-certifying, and supplying new cylinders. The contract term is initially 3 years with possible extensions up to a total of 10 years. This procurement may involve negotiation and is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
