The U.S. Coast Guard at Base Alameda is seeking a small business contractor to remove and replace carpet in Building 10, supporting the Maritime Safety and Security Team San Francisco. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Base Alameda, Regional Support Team Southwest (RST-SW) - OEMs and Vendors: - Carpet must be equal or superior to Mannington Commercial (OEM) Variations 4 Carpet Tile Lapis 24x24 (SKU: VAR42424-34240) - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and replacement of approximately 4,100 square feet of commercial-grade 2ft x 2ft carpet tiles - Carpet tiles must match or exceed Mannington Commercial Variations 4 Carpet Tile Lapis 24x24 (SKU: VAR42424-34240) - Installation of 4" vinyl cove base (all rooms except conference room) - Installation of 3-4" painted wood floor trim (conference room) - Provision of 13 cases (approx. 500 sq ft) of spare matching carpet squares for future repairs - Project management, site preparation, removal of existing carpet, installation, transition strips, cove base, site cleanup, and restoration - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Carpet must be equal to or better than a specified Mannington Commercial product - Compliance with Buy American construction material requirements - Handling of controlled unclassified information - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 238330 (Flooring Contractors) - Work must begin within 10-15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60 days - Estimated Contract Value: - Between $25,000 and $100,000
