Hanscom Air Force Base is seeking vendors to replace its manual bay self-service car wash system with a modern, high-pressure 1-bay system. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Hanscom Air Force Base, Force Support Squadron (FSS) - Project Manager: Paul Hartigan, Flight Chief - Products/Services Requested: - 1-bay high pressure self-service car wash system - Minimum 5 HP, 3-phase motor - Direct drive pump assembly - Foam generator - Coin mechanism accepting coins, bills, and credit cards - High security locks, display, timer, keys - Overhead swivel mount (360/180 high pressure boom), tire brush, hangars - Low water cut-off and weep protection - Installation, project management, removal of old equipment, operator training, and disposal of debris - Optional preventive maintenance plan (quarterly inspections, lubrication, calibration, documentation) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; market research is open to all qualified manufacturers - Unique Requirements: - Minimum one-year warranty on new equipment - Contractor must provide project and construction management - Compliance with all applicable regulations - Payment system must accept coins, bills, and credit cards - High security locks and all keys provided - Work must minimize disruption; after-hours work may be required - SBA-eligible businesses are encouraged to respond - All technical specifications and requirements are detailed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS)
