Valencia College is inviting general contractor companies to submit qualification statements for annual pre-qualification to compete for construction projects at the college. - Government Buyer: - Valencia College, Purchasing Department - Scope of Services: - Pre-qualification for general contractors to perform a wide range of construction and related services - Includes fire protection, energy-related construction, general construction, irrigation, street lighting, hazardous waste, communication equipment, parking lots, pipelines, sewer, storm drain, sidewalks, driveways, special foundations, street construction, utility/underground projects, wastewater treatment, water systems, vertical and concrete construction, consulting, equipment maintenance, construction management, marine construction, barriers, architectural, building construction (industrial, non-residential, commercial, institutional, educational, sustainable/green, special), contingency, rehabilitation, preconstruction services, trade services, and engineering management - Requirements: - Open to licensed and registered general contractors in Florida - Corporations must be registered with the Florida Department of State - Pre-qualification process follows SREF Chapter 4, Section 4.1 and Valencia College Policy 6Hx28:11-06 - Minority participation is encouraged - Contractors must complete all sections of the Qualification Application and required forms - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, part numbers, or purchase quantities are specified, as this is a pre-qualification for services, not a product procurement - Notable: This is a pre-qualification process, not a solicitation for a specific project or purchase
