Description

Sacramento County's Department of Homeless Services and Housing is soliciting proposals to operate a Weather Respite Program at the Watt Safe Stay Facility and potentially other locations. The program will provide low-barrier, trauma-informed shelter services to up to 75 adults experiencing homelessness during weather emergencies, including Weather Respite Centers, Cooling Centers, and Warming Centers. The contract is multi-year starting July 1, 2026, and requires detailed plans for program operations, staffing, service delivery, compliance, and facility management.
