Description

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) intends to award a contract for Elder services to provide traditional Indigenous cultural and spiritual services to Indigenous offenders at the Federal Training Centre in Laval, Quebec. The services include counseling, teachings, ceremonies, guidance, case management, and participation in regional and national meetings. The Elder must have at least 5 years of experience, be recognized by their community as an Elder/Cultural Advisor, and meet security requirements. The contract period is from May 11, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with options to extend for two additional one-year periods. This procurement is set aside for Indigenous suppliers and aims to support Indigenous offenders' healing and cultural development.
