Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a request for renewal of an existing information collection titled "NRC Form 790, Classification Record" to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). This form is required each time an authorized classifier makes a classification determination to classify, declassify, or downgrade a document. The NRC uses the information collected to report statistics related to its security classification program annually to the Information Security Oversight Office. Comments on this renewal are invited by May 21, 2026.
