Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a final rule superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2025-22-02 for certain MHI RJ Aviation ULC airplanes previously certified by Bombardier, Inc. This AD continues to require repetitive torque checks of the horizontal stabilizer anti-yaw steady fitting block bolts and additionally mandates replacing the fitting block hardware to address an unsafe condition that could lead to loss of the horizontal stabilizer and consequent loss of airplane control. The directive is effective May 26, 2026, and incorporates by reference Transport Canada AD CF202538 dated August 19, 2025.
