The Regulatory Commission of Alaska announces that Gold Country Energy (GCE) has filed a quarterly update to its cost of power adjustment (COPA), power cost equalization (PCE), and small facility power purchase rate (SFPPR) effective April 1, 2026. The proposed rates show increases in all categories, with the COPA surcharge rising from $0.2642 to $0.6526 per kWh, PCE from $0.4730 to $0.7564 per kWh, and SFPPR from $0.3785 to $0.6968 per kWh.
