Seminole County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for its integrated solid waste management system. - Government Buyer: - Seminole County, Environmental Services - Solid Waste Management Division - Purchasing & Contracts Division - Scope of Services: - Operation and maintenance of leachate collection and management systems (including slurry walls, under-drain systems, piping, storage tanks, lift stations, and valve boxes) - Maintenance of landfill gas (LFG) systems (HDPE piping, wells, candlestick flares, and gas delivery to on-site energy facility) - Stormwater and hydraulic systems (structures, swales, canals, ponds, erosion control, and monitoring systems) - Site facilities maintenance (roadways, scales, plumbing, electrical, structural repairs, fencing) - Requirements: - Contractor must have significant experience with Class 1 landfill operations, lift stations, and telemetry - Technical proficiency in industrial electrical systems and welding - Must provide all labor, tools, equipment, and permits - Compliance with EPA and FDEP regulations is mandatory - Engineering services are excluded from this contract - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Submission: - Responses must be submitted electronically via the County's e-Procurement Portal - Place of Performance: - Seminole County, Sanford, FL (1301 East Second St. Sanford, FL 32771) - Period of Performance: - Contract begins upon issuance of Purchase Order; work starts within 7 days; bid prices firm for 120 days post-bid opening and at least one year after contract execution - Notable Exclusions: - Engineering services are not part of this contract
