This opportunity seeks suppliers for utility poles and related equipment and services for Canoe and Sourcewell members across Canada. - Government Buyer: - Canoe and Sourcewell (acting as procurement agencies for Canadian public sector members) - Products Requested: - Wood utility poles (from approved species, engineered wood, or equivalent structural wood products) - Must meet ANSI, ASTM, CSA, or other applicable standards - Non-wood utility poles (metal, concrete, composite hybrid material) - Must meet ANSI, ASCE, ASTM, CSA, ISO, AWS, ACI, IEEE, NACE/AMPP, or other applicable standards - Related materials: crossarms, braces/bracing, pole caps, anchors, identification tags and markers - Must meet ANSI, ASTM, CSA, RUS, NESC, IEEE, or other applicable standards - Services Requested: - Services directly related to utility pole solutions (installation, maintenance, etc.) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All products must comply with relevant US and Canadian standards - Excludes products/services covered under existing Sourcewell contracts for sports lighting, smart infrastructure, and public utility equipment - Delivery location is Alberta, Canada - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified suppliers - Contract Term: - Four years, with up to three one-year extensions (potential for up to seven years total) - Extensions beyond seven years may be considered in exceptional cases

Canoe and Sourcewell are soliciting proposals for a national contracting solution to supply utility poles and related equipment, supplies, and services for use by their members across Canada. The scope includes wood and non-wood utility poles meeting various US and Canadian standards, related materials such as crossarms and anchors, and related services. The contract term is four years with possible extensions, and proposals must be submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal by June 3, 2026. This opportunity excludes products covered under existing Sourcewell contracts.
