Midland Independent School District (MISD) is seeking a turnkey kitchen equipment upgrade for three campuses: - Project covers DeZavala Elementary, Santa Rita Elementary, and Early College High School - Scope includes: - Removal and disposal or relocation of existing kitchen equipment - Delivery and installation of new equipment - Full startup, testing, and utility verification/modification as needed - Equipment requested: - One custom-fabricated three-compartment sink (ModUServe or approved equal) for DeZavala Elementary - Includes T&S model B-0291 faucet and Fisher 22306 twist waste valve - Modular serving line systems for Santa Rita Elementary, DeZavala Elementary, and Early College High School - Manufacturers specified: Multiteria, ModUServe, Master Fabricators, or approved equal - Features: stainless steel construction, utility carts, hot well units, frost top units (with 5-year compressor warranty), cashier carts, Corian tray slides, LED lighting, sneeze guards, and electrical raceway systems - Notable requirements: - Factory-authorized installers only - Mandatory site visits (no dealer rep substitutions) - Turnkey installation and demonstration - All labor, materials, and supervision provided by vendor - OEMs highlighted: - ModUServe - Multiteria - Master Fabricators - T&S (faucets) - Fisher (waste valves) - Services include complete removal, delivery, installation, utility upgrades, equipment startup, demonstration, and site cleanup - All work must be completed and operational by the project deadline; contract is firm fixed-price, awarded by line item

Description

Midland Independent School District (MISD) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a turnkey solution for the removal, delivery, and installation of kitchen equipment as part of a kitchen upgrade initiative. The project covers upgrades at DeZavala Elementary, Santa Rita Elementary, and Early College High School, including removal or relocation of existing equipment, delivery of new equipment, full installation and startup, and verification and modification of utilities as required. Vendors must attend a mandatory site visit and submit proposals via the district's electronic bidding system by May 12, 2026.
