PAIS - Backcountry Cabin Roof RepairsPRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:The National Park Service, CONOPS - Central, intends to issue a Request for Quoter (RFQ) for the Backcountry Cabin Roof Repair project at Padre Island National Seashore in Corpus Christi, Texas. Procurement and installation of hurricane-rated Bahama shutters, door reinforcement, roof leak repair, and optional ramp extension and sand control at Padre Island National Seashore. Scope includes corrosion-resistant materials, compliance with coastal building codes, and floodplain requirements.SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6026Q0029PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Spring 2026 with performance to begin in Spring 2026. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Nueces County, TX will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and PriceNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220, and the size standard is $45 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
