Description
The United States Government (USG) requires the services of a contractor to replace and maintain skylights at Government-Owned (GO) residences in Ciudad de Mexico, CDMX. The current skylight components have reached the end of their life cycle and require replacement to maintain the living standards originally intended for these residences. The USG requires a professional contractor with general services capabilities to supply and install skylight components within the specified timeframe. The project encompasses 22 GO units.
The contractor will dismantle and remove the existing skylights from each house and replace all components. The work includes repairs to the surrounding areas of each installation to ensure waterproofing and prevent leaks.
The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, raw materials, and transportation as well as adhere to all safety requirements per local law that are necessary to accomplish all required services.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a single award firm-fixed price contract for III Canadas Skylights Restoration Services.
The Government is planning a Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference on May 13, 2026. The process to confirm time and location will be stated in the solicitation.
The anticipated performance period is 10 (ten) business days per house and up to 90 (ninety) business days for the full project, as 3 houses are expected to be executed simultaneously. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, provided it complies with the requirements outlined in the RFQ. This information is provided to ensure all offerors clearly understand the full scope and duration of the contract.
Offerors/Quoters shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.203-1. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given.
