Description
The United States Government (USG) requires the services of a contractor to perform work on Government-Owned (GO) residences in Ciudad de Mexico, CDMX. The contractor will repair and replace the existing solvent-based elastomeric roof coating and perform related roof repairs on 22 houses of the same compound.
Each house features a two-story flat structure with an arched roof comprising concrete slabs. The existing roof area measures approximately 210 square meters per house, plus a 50-centimeter perimeter parapet that adds 30 square meters, totaling approximately 240 square meters per house. The combined roof area for all 22 houses is estimated at 5,300 square meters. The current solvent-based waterproofing system has reached the end of its life cycle and requires replacement.
The awarded contractor will remove and dispose of the existing solvent-based waterproofing system from all surfaces, including flashing and parapets. The contractor will prepare surfaces by cleaning all debris and repairing concrete as required. The contractor will then apply and install a new solvent-based waterproofing system using a multi-layer application method.
The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, raw materials, and transportation as well as adhere to all safety requirements per local law that are necessary to accomplish all required services.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a single award firm-fixed price contract for III Canadas Roof Repair Coating Services.
The Government is planning a Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference on May 13, 2026. The process to confirm time and location will be stated in the solicitation.
The anticipated performance period is 20 (twenty) business days per house and up to 120 (one hundred and twenty) business days for the full project, as 4 houses are expected to be executed simultaneously. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, provided it complies with the requirements outlined in the RFQ. This information is provided to ensure all offerors clearly understand the full scope and duration of the contract.
