The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS), is seeking contractor support for comprehensive Teleradiology Physician Services to serve eligible VA beneficiaries. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) - 262-Network Contract Office 22 (36C262) - Scope of Services: - Off-site, 24/7 teleradiology interpretation of medical imaging studies for NMVAHCS - Services must be provided by board certified or board eligible radiologists - Coverage includes STAT (within 1 hour), urgent (within 4 hours), and routine (within 48 hours) report turnaround times - Interpretation of a wide range of imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and angiography, with estimated annual volumes (e.g., 1,499 CT Head w/o contrast, 3,495 Chest X-rays, 767 CTA Thorax) - Compliance with American College of Radiology (ACR) and Joint Commission (TJC) standards - Adherence to VA credentialing, privileging, and HIPAA/privacy requirements - Quality assurance, peer review, and secure data transmission are required - No billing to veterans; payment is solely from the VA - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contract is set aside for small businesses, including SDVOSB and VOSB - NAICS code 621512 (Diagnostic Imaging Centers) and PSC Q522 apply - Contractors must demonstrate experience and capability in teleradiology - Services must be available 24/7, including holidays - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is a professional medical services procurement - Period of Performance: - One base year plus four option years (total of five years) - Place of Performance: - New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS), Albuquerque, NM

Description

The Contractor shall furnish all key personnel to provide services necessary to perform Teleradiology Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the NMVAHCS. The VA Radiology Services follow the standards & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR) Practice Parameters and Technical Standards | American College of Radiology (acr.org). A contractor providing tele-radiology services shall provide services consistent with the Joint Commission (TJC) and that meet or exceed the VA and the ACR Guidelines.
