Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Agency: Kentucky Army National Guard Product/Service: Lodging and facilities for the Loucon Training and Retreat Center Proposed Contractor: Camp Loucon, Leitchfield, Kentucky1. Notice This is a Notice of Intent to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to Camp Loucon for the provision of lodging and facilities for the FY26 Kentucky National Guard Youth Camp. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations.2. Authority and Procedures This acquisition is for a commercial service and is being conducted using the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).3.
