(UNICOR), part of the U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking vendors for DYNO testing and potential remanufacture of CAT C12 engines and Allison HD 4070 (Gen 3 and Gen 4) transmissions at its Glenville, WV facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) - Place of performance: Glenville, West Virginia - OEMs and Vendors Mentioned: - Caterpillar (CAT) - Allison - Products/Services Requested: - DYNO testing for up to 70 CAT C12 engines (430-435 HP, 1550-1650 ft-lb torque, specified RPM ranges) - DYNO testing for up to 70 Allison HD 4070 transmissions (Gen 3 and Gen 4; 1465 ft-lb torque, 465 HP, specified gear ratios) - Remanufacture services for failed units (top-end, bottom-end, or complete rebuilds) - Painting engines CAT Yellow - Minimum one-year warranty on all remanufactured units - Detailed DYNO reports (email and hard copy) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Testing must begin within five working days of receipt - At least one test must be completed per workday - Remanufacture of failed units must be completed within 30 days - Contract duration is one year with one option year - All work performed at Federal Prison Industries, Glenville, WV
