The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport, under the Department of the Navy (NAVSEA), is seeking industry input regarding corrosion control services for three buildings at its Keyport facility. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), NUWC Division Keyport - Scope of Work: - Corrosion control services for galvanized steel surfaces and mezzanine structures in three buildings - Application of protective coatings to prevent corrosion and rust - Addressing elevated zinc levels in roof runoff caused by corrosion - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are identified in the notice - Products/Services Requested: - Services only; no specific products or part numbers are listed - Completion of an attached "Questionnaire for Industry" is required - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Operations Security (OPSEC) as per NAVSEA OPSEC Guide for Contractors - Contractors must have an approved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) level prior to award; verification will be conducted in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) - Offerors without approved CMMC will be ineligible for award - Place of Performance: - NUWC Division Keyport, 610 Dowell Street, Keyport, WA 98345-7610

Synopsis:

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, is issuing this sources sought notice to identify parties capable of performing corrosion control services for three buildings.

The scope of the project includes the coating of various galvanized surfaces and mezzanine structures within these facilities. This preventative measure is required to arrest ongoing corrosion and rust, which is currently causing elevated zinc levels in the roof runoff.

This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP); submission of any information in response to this announcement is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

Please complete the attached "Questionnaire for Industry" word document attached and return via email to john.p.gathu.mil@us.navy.mil  no later no later than the response date and time identified on this notice.

Pursuant to DFARS 204.75 an approved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) of Level X (check for each requirement what level of CMMC is required) is required before a contractor can be considered for award. The contracting team will check each offeror's CMMC level in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) after offers have been submitted but prior to contract award. Any offerors that are determined not to have an approved CMMC will be ineligible for award.
