This is a CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District required 10,000 gallons of #2 Diesel (dyed) for Off-Road Use, delivered to the USACE Crane Barge Wade and attending equipment, at locations to be determined (TBD) along the Upper Mississippi River between Lock & Dam 7 (La Crescent, MN) and Lock & Dam 10 (Guttenberg, IA). No Biodiesel or Biodiesel blends will be accepted. Deliveries will be in quantities of between 1,000 and 4,000 gallons per delivery as requested by the On-Site Supervisor, beginning after April 20 and continuing for up to six weeks. Delivery will be by straight truck with fuel nozzle type fill capabilities. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer.
Requirement was informally solicited (i.e. oral quotes) amongst known fuel vendors using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. If vendors wish to be included in notifications for future requirements of this type (similar quantities of fuel in this area), please contact the POC listed below by email.
