The USDA Forest Service is soliciting janitorial and trash services for the Andrew Pickens Ranger District at Sumter National Forest, South Carolina. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Sumter National Forest, Andrew Pickens Ranger District - Contracting office: USDA-FS CSA EAST 3, Atlanta, GA - Scope of Services: - Janitorial cleaning and trash collection for office/work center (3,300 sq ft) and multiple recreation sites (campgrounds, picnic areas, river accesses, parking areas) - Services scheduled weekly or biweekly, with seasonal frequency adjustments (1x or 2x per week) - Annual tile floor maintenance (scrub, buff, wax) for 1,750 sq ft - As-needed deep cleaning/pressure washing of recreation site restroom facilities - Use of biobased cleaning products required - Compliance with federal wage standards for janitorial staff - Products/Services Requested: - No specific OEMs or part numbers; all services are labor-based - Detailed cleaning specifications and schedules provided for each site - Unique Requirements: - Site visits encouraged for offerors to assess logistics and equipment needs - BPA structure: work is ordered and funded via individual call orders - Option to extend services up to six months beyond the final ordering period - Period of Performance: - 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods (total up to five years), with possible six-month extension - Place of Performance: - Andrew Pickens Ranger District Office and Work Center, Mountain Rest, SC - Multiple federal recreation sites within Sumter National Forest

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444126Q0022 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for  janitorial services at Andrew Pickens Ranger District. Intent of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Janitorial Services to be performed for the USDA Forest Service, Sumter National Forest, Andrew Pickens Ranger District. The Period of Performance on the BPA will consist of 12-month base period and four 12-month ordering periods. The BPA does not obligate funds; the Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA. There will be five (5) individual (annual) ordering periods which will obligate funds on BPA Call orders. Either party (Government or Awardee) may terminate this agreement at any time. A 30-day notice must be provided in writing to terminate this agreement.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720  The small business size standard is $22M  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

A formal site visit is not scheduled or mandatory, it is strongly encouraged for offerors to visit the accessible public land sites. This allows for assessing travel logistics and identifying the necessary equipment to perform work.
