Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce preliminarily determines that imports of disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids completed in Thailand using aluminum foil produced in the People's Republic of China are circumventing the antidumping duty and countervailing duty orders on aluminum containers from China. This determination covers aluminum containers assembled in Thailand with Chinese-origin aluminum foil and subsequently exported to the United States. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination, which includes suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements for such merchandise.
