Comprehensive Pest Control Services for SCO Family of Services Facilities in NYC and Long Island

SCO Family of Services is seeking bids from qualified pest control vendors to provide comprehensive services across over 80 program and administrative locations in New York City (Bronx, Kings, Queens) and Long Island (Nassau, Suffolk).

- No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or named vendors are specified; open to all qualified pest control service providers
- Products/Services Requested:
- Routine preventative pest control services (weekly, bi-monthly, monthly) for interior and exterior areas
- Emergency pest control response, including after-hours and non-routine calls
- Specialty services: bed bug inspection/treatment, termite inspection/treatment, wildlife removal, fumigation, exclusion/sealing, and other vendor-defined specialty services
- Infestation treatments for rodents, cockroaches, ants, wasps/bees, and follow-up visits
- Unique or Notable Requirements:
- Vendors must be licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and comply with EPA regulations
- Minimum six years of relevant pest control experience required
- Must meet safeguarding and abuse-prevention requirements
- Pricing must be all-inclusive (labor, materials, travel) and remain firm for the contract duration; specialty services require a separate rate sheet
- Contract may be awarded to one or two vendors, with the option to bid for one or both service regions
- Preference may be given to certified Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs)

Description

SCO Family of Services is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide pest control services across multiple program and administrative locations in New York City and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties). The services include routine preventative maintenance, monitoring, and emergency response following Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles. Vendors must comply with all regulatory requirements and SCO policies, including safeguarding and abuse-prevention standards. The contract term is initially one year with an option to renew, and SCO anticipates awarding one or two vendors capable of delivering consistent services across the portfolio sites. Vendors may bid for one or both service regions.
