Description

This solicitation seeks expertise to support the legislated functions of the director of Policing and Law Enforcement Services in British Columbia to establish binding provincial policing standards related to police use of force, weapons, tactics, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and detention facilities. The work includes developing new or amended standards, provincial training courses on use of force or weapons, and advising on various aspects of police use of force and emerging issues. The contract duration is 12 months with an estimated annual value not exceeding $35,000 CAD.
