Midland Independent School District (MISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive suite of professional special education services across its campuses in Midland, Texas. - Government Buyer: - Midland Independent School District (MISD) - Services Requested: - School Psychologist Services - Must hold valid Texas license and have experience with Texas eligibility criteria - Duties include evaluations, Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs), IEP meetings, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and direct services - Assessment Specialist/Diagnostician Services - Texas certification required; experience with SuccessEd preferred - Responsibilities include assessments, FIEs, IEP/ARD meetings, and documentation - Speech Pathologist Services - Texas license and master's degree required; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred - In-person therapy only; includes evaluations, FIEs, IEP/ARD meetings, and documentation - Educational Consultation Services - Support for behavioral, autism, and low incidence populations - Includes instructional and behavioral plan development, staff collaboration, and data analysis - Audiologist Services - Texas license (Au.D.) required - Includes audiological evaluations, equipment provision, and coordination with medical providers - Interpreter Services - Bachelor's degree in relevant language or ASL; in-person preferred - All languages and communication modes supported for deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind individuals - Other Related Special Education Services - Vendors may propose additional related services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All personnel must meet Texas licensing and certification requirements - In-person services are required for speech pathologists and preferred for interpreters - Vendors must provide references and meet insurance requirements ($1M general liability, $500K workers' compensation) - Multiple vendors may be awarded contracts based on best value and cost savings - Pricing must be submitted using the district's template - Period of Performance: - Initial contract term is one year, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year periods - Place of Performance: - All services to be delivered at MISD campuses in Midland, Texas
