Description

The Ministry of Natural Resources in Ontario is seeking up to seven Fixed Wing Birddog Aircraft Services and up to ten Fixed Wing Aerial Detection Aircraft Services to support wildland fire suppression activities primarily in Ontario during each fire season. These aircraft may also be deployed to other provinces, territories, or U.S. states as needed. The procurement will result in up to two contracts, one for each service type, with proposals evaluated separately. The services are critical for early fire detection, airspace management over fires, and directing aerial fire suppression efforts.
