Description

The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) is seeking a qualified contractor to update the 2021 study on the Economic Contribution of the Oceans Sector in Coastal BC. The updated study will provide new economic estimates reflecting recent data to support provincial decision-making and collaborative work with federal and First Nations partners. The contractor will review and update value chain descriptions, assess new sub-sectors, compile data, and update economic contribution analyses. The contract duration is approximately 10 months, starting May 2026 and ending February 2027.
